FREE NETWORKING EVENT THIS WEEK.

The Brookhaven Chambers of Commerce Coalition is hosting Small Business to Business Networking Event on November 12 from 6:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. at the Miller Place Inn, 195 North Country Road in Miller Place.

This FREE networking event is open to the general public -walk-Ins are welcome.  Free refreshments and a cash bar.

It’s your chance to meet other small business owners and showcase your products & services.  National Grid is sponsoring this event.

PASSPORT TO GREATER MIDDLE COUNTRY.

We are excited to announce that the chamber will be publishing our first ever member directory!  It will be a full-color, high quality magazine with an original artwork cover, showcasing the middle country area.  This community and visitors guide will feature a pullout section listing all chamber members and a map of our area.  This will be an excellent opportunity to promote your business, the chamber and our area as 10,000 books will be published and distributed in the greater middle country area and throughout Long Island in early spring 2010.   We encourage you to be part of Passport to Greater Middle Country.  Please consider advertising in our beautiful book when Reeni calls.

ADS IN TIMES OF MIDDLE COUNTRY

The first week of November another full page GMC Chamber ad ran in the local Times of Middle Country and also in the Times of Smithtown. Our final entry will publish in early December and once again we will list every GMC chamber member and encourage all to shop locally.  Please provide feedback to us if this exposure has produced results for you. 

CHAMBER MEETING TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 17

The next General Meeting of the Greater Middle Country Chamber of Commerce will be held on Tuesday, November 17 at the Middle Country Public Library in Centereach at 12 NOON.

John Tsunis (Vice Chairman of Gold Coast Bank and President and CEO of Long Island Hotels LLC) will discuss the current economic climate, the nominating slate for the 2010 GMCCC Executive Board will be presented, and our lunch will be catered by Benkert's Classic Delicatessen

DECEMBER CHAMBER HOLIDAY MEETING

Be sure not to miss our Merry and Bright annual holiday evening.  Connie Lynch and The Bank of Smithtown will again be hosting this festive gathering on Tuesday, December 15 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
